About The Isabel Baker Foundation
The Isabel Baker Foundation is a registered charity providing support to families whose children have cancer. We provide dry suits, essential packs and a supportive community - bringing comfort, connection and moments of normality to families facing childhood cancer.
Why we exist
The Isabel Baker Foundation was created in memory of Isabel Baker, who passed away from Infantile Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in 2015, just eight days after her first birthday.
After experiencing first-hand the devastating emotional, practical and financial impact childhood cancer and child loss can have on a family, we founded the charity to make sure no family faces that journey alone.
What began as support for bereaved families with funeral costs and urgent household expenses has grown into a nationwide charity providing practical and emotional support through initiatives including supermarket vouchers, made-to-measure dry suits for children with central lines, The Holding Space community, and Isabel’s Retreat; our peaceful holiday home in Dorset.
Since 2015, we have supported more than 1,200 families across the UK, with every family we help becoming part of Isabel’s legacy.

Isabel's Story
Behind every part of our charity is Isabel’s story — a story of love, courage, childhood cancer, and the reality no family ever expects to face.
Isabel’s journey is the reason The Isabel Baker Foundation exists and continues to shape everything we do today.
The Team
The Isabel Baker Foundation would not be able to provide the support we do without the dedication, compassion and generosity of our incredible team and trustees.
United by a shared passion for supporting families facing childhood cancer, each person plays an important role in helping us make a difference to families across the UK. From fundraising and events to family support and behind-the-scenes work, our charity is built on the kindness and commitment of people who truly care.

Last year we commemorated 10 years of the charity
10 years of love, resilience and support.
From one little girl’s legacy grew a charity that has now supported more than 1,200 families facing childhood cancer across the UK. This is our journey so far.
