Join Isabel's Army for the Bournemouth Bay Run 2027 and take on a challenge that makes a difference!

Whether you're an experienced runner looking to tackle the Half Marathon, taking on your first 5K or getting the little ones involved in one of the children's fun runs, there's something for everyone.

​

The Isabel Baker Foundation is offering FREE charity places across all five races in return for a fundraising commitment to help us continue supporting families affected by childhood cancer.

​

With Bournemouth's beautiful coastline as your backdrop, it's a fantastic opportunity to challenge yourself, make memories and raise vital funds for a cause that matters.

Choose Your Challenge

There are five races to choose from, with different distances and age requirements.

​

🏃 Half Marathon – 10:00am

Minimum age: 17 years
Charity place: FREE
Fundraising target: £150

Take on 13.1 miles along Bournemouth's stunning coastline and challenge yourself while raising vital funds for families affected by childhood cancer.

🏃 10K – 9:15am

Minimum age: 15 years
Charity place: FREE
Fundraising target: £120

Whether you're chasing a personal best or taking on your first 10K, join Isabel's Army and make every kilometre count.

 

🏃 5K – 12:15pm

Minimum age: 11 years
Charity place: FREE
Fundraising target: £100

A brilliant challenge for runners of all abilities, whether you're new to running or looking for a shorter distance to enjoy.

 

🏃 2.5K Junior Fun Run – 2:00pm

Recommended age: 9 years and over
Charity place: FREE
Fundraising target: £100

A fantastic opportunity for younger runners to get involved, enjoy the atmosphere and help make a difference.

 

🏃 1K Kids Fun Run – 1:30pm

Minimum age: No minimum age
Charity place: FREE
Fundraising target: £100

Perfect for little legs! A fun way for our youngest supporters to join Isabel's Army and be part of something special.

What's Included?

When you join Isabel's Army, you'll receive:

• A fully funded race entry for your chosen event

• Charity branded T-shirt

• Encouragement and support as you prepare for your challenge

All we ask is that you aim to reach the fundraising target for your chosen race.

How to Join Isabel's Army

​

Taking part is easy!

​

1. Choose your race

Select one of the five Bournemouth Bay Run events.

2. Apply for your charity place

Complete our short registration form with your details and your chosen race.

3. Wait for confirmation

Our team will review your application and contact you to confirm your charity place, subject to availability.

4. Start fundraising!

Once your place is confirmed, we'll send you everything you need to get started, including fundraising information, tips and guidance.

5. Get ready for race day

Join us on Sunday 21st March 2027 and enjoy an unforgettable day supporting The Isabel Baker Foundation.

Important Event Information

​

Race location: All five races start from around the Pier Approach area of Bournemouth Seafront.

Race routes: Each event follows a different route. Route maps will be available nearer the event date, and participants will receive relevant race information ahead of the event.

Age restrictions: Please check the minimum or recommended age for your chosen race before applying.

Charity places: Places are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until confirmed by The Isabel Baker Foundation.

Registration deadline: Applications will close by 18th March 2027, or earlier if places are filled.

Children's entries: Parents or carers can register children for the junior events.
