Vicky Turner

Isabel's Mummy, CEO  + Co-Founder

Hello, I am the co founder of The Isabel Baker Foundation , and more importantly Isabel's Mummy

. I'm lucky to be surrounded by an incredible group of friends and family who  have been imperative in making The Isabel Baker Foundation as a successful as it is.

I'm beyond grateful for the amazing team I work with, all of the trustees that have helped over the years, as well as the volunteers and community support.

Without you, there would be no charity, and Isabel's' legacy would not exist. I don't have the words to express how much this means to me.

I have got involved with the fundraising by climbing Snowdon, completing a half marathon, and abseiling the Spinnaker Tower, and I'm looking forward to organising some more fundraising events for next year!

Krystina Fox

Isabel's Retreat Manager + Co-Founder

Hello I'm Krystina, a very proud Godmother to Isabel, and a lifelong friend of her incredible Mum Vicky.

My current role is the Retreat manager, which I patiently waited two years for whilst we manifested this project.

⁣I have been part of the team since day one, and it's been a whirlwind of emotions from the very moment I received a panic call from Vicky to say the Echo were on route to take photos.

From that moment, this team of girls have worked together to build The Isabel Baker Foundation into what it is today. Not only did we all hold each others hands whilst Isabel so bravely battled, but we've been able to build her legacy and keep her light shining so brightly.

. Without the help of our loyal supporters none of this journey would be possible, so from me to you, Thank You

Jody Tauman

Trustee + Co-Founder

Hello Everyone , My name is Jody, I am a life long friend of Vicky, Isabel’s Mummy and I am honoured to have a role of a trustee to continue Isabel’s legacy and to carry on raising vital funds to benefit other families.

Following our first fundraiser climbing up Snowden with some of my very best friends & fellow trustees, I’m looking forward to re visiting Wales next year by taking on the fastest Zipwire in the world and longest in Europe!

Lucy Darke

Trustee

Hi I’m Lucy, I have been a trustee for The Isabel Baker Foundation for three years now. As soon as I heard about the charity I knew had to get involved, I supported initially with fundraising and using my quizmaster skills to run a virtual quiz during the pandemic.

This then led to me becoming a fully fledged trustee.

I am a Midwife and have been for many years now, it’s heart-breaking to know that some of those little babies I help into the world will develop leukaemia but knowing I can support them in some way gives me a small amount of peace.

I am naturally caring and definitely the sort of person who wants to make a difference in this world, so this role suits me well. In my spare time, I enjoy quizzes and fitness and even did 5000 press ups in one month for the charity back in 2021 (that’s 166 per day!).

Lorna Chambers

Trustee, Co-Founder + Secretary

I’m Lorna and I have been a trustee of The Isabel Baker Foundation since the beginning.

I am very grateful to have known Vicky, Isabel’s Mum, for over 30 years! I am super proud of Vicky and the girls for all the hard work that has been put into the charity, which has allowed us to support families that are affected by such a cruel disease. It has also enabled us to be part of some amazing fundraising opportunities which I have been honoured to be apart of such as pulling a plane  climbing mount Snowdon  skydiving  and many many more.

I would like to thank everyone that has supported us over the years - it means so much to us and more so to the families that we help

Francesca Chadwick

Trustee

Hello, my name is Francesca. I haven’t been a trustee for long, but I have known Vicky for more than 20 years, so I was absolutely thrilled to be invited on board and to be a part of this incredible charity.

Over the years, I have helped out and raised money for the charity, but I am excited to be able to have some input and help from behind the scenes. I am currently on maternity leave from my full-time job as a client services manager in a law firm.

I am very much looking forward to the year ahead and seeing how this charity’s hard work really makes a difference. There are lots of fantastic events happening that you too can get involved in , so please don’t hesitate to join in on our fundraising.

Laura Blake

Administrator + Co-Founder

Hey everyone my name's Laura, I started off as a trustee and also assisted with the set up. I'm now the administrator, helping with the day to day running of the charity. This involves a little bit of everything, from organisation to fundraising, marketing and social media, plus lots more.

Isabel's mum is a lifelong friend of mine, and I could not be prouder of her and everything the charity has achieved so far. The strength and determination it's taken to get this far is unparalleled. I can't wait to see what the future brings us, none of which would be possible if it wasn't for all of our wonderful supporters

Nicola Coleman

Trustee + Co-Founder

Hi everyone, my name is Nicola. I’ve been a trustee since the beginning of the charity.

When Vicky decided she wanted to set up the charity in honour of our Isabel, her and I were sat on her sofa and in a very spontaneous moment, I called the Bournemouth Echo and within a few minutes, Vicky came up with the name of the charity and a photographer arrived, and here we are all these years later!

Since the charity began, I’ve been involved in lots of fundraisers including Pull a Plane, abseiling down Spinnaker Tower and climbing Mount Snowdon. I’m also taking part in the Velocity Zip Wire fundraiser later this year. Vicky and I have been friends for over 17 years and the group of people involved in this charity are so special.

Being even a small part of this charity and knowing a difference is being made truly is a privilege.

Andrea Gray

Chairman, Trustee + Co-Founder

I’m Andrea, mum of two girls and a lifelong friend of Vicky, Isabel's Mum. I’ve been a trustee at The Isabel Baker Foundation from launching it back in 2015.

I’m super proud to be a part of such a strong, dedicated team that has grown stronger each year. I have taken part in several fundraising events such as skydiving, mountain climbing and cycling 113km in a day. Last year I was also part of the project ‘Isabel’s retreat’ where we were able to purchase a holiday home for the charity.

I cannot wait to see what the future holds for the charity. With such a strong, passionate team, we know we will continue to thrive and succeed in supporting children with cancer.

Natasha Tanner-Wood Dowling

Trustee + Co-Founder

I'm Tash, lifelong friend of Vicky and mum of two boys, one of whom was one of little Isabel's best friends.

I've been with the charity since it began in 2015 and took part in our first ever fundraising event, climbing Snowdon.

Since then, I've also pulled planes and love to help with the creative side of our events.

I'm looking forward to going back to where it all started and completing the sunrise at Snowdon this September with my husband Aaron.

I'm proud of how much we have accomplished and how we are growing and expanding. I can't wait to see what the future brings
